Blackpool Preston Fylde Radio Group is a Lancashire-coast community interested in practical push-to-talk: licence-free handhelds (PMR446), UK CB, amateur radio, marine VHF and internet PoC — with an emphasis on legal, useful operation rather than gadget noise.

This tools site is an unofficial companion. Calculators run entirely in your browser. Shared features (Buy & Sell, Manuals, Net Logger) use a simple SQLite database on the server.

Always operate within Ofcom regulations. Formulas are practical approximations — verify critical antenna cuts and RF safety with proper equipment and current references.
